When Roger Weir came to our church, I was serving on Session as a Trustee. He came to one of our meetings and said "You need to set goals for your committe. I knew that the church needed some major repairs. The Trustee's Committee took a tour of the whole building. We then did some soul searching and made the decision to recommend to session that we hire a consultant to do a feasibility study. That started the ball rolling. As a result of that study we did a major remodeling to the building. What is now the library and back halls were all open with classrooms on the second floor. Access to those rooms were by a walkway with a railing. This was open to the large meeting room downstairs. A floor was constructed , new rest rooms were added , and a new back stairway was constructed. All rooms were repainted plus new carpet on the entire second floor.
